| 16-Mar | A student asked: "I took notes on my laptop in class and when I am reading the textbook, do you allow having the laptop when taking the exam? " | Provided the sound is turned off, you may. For that matter, you may use any documentation you have, either hard copy or electronic form. You may use any electronic devices you may have provided they do not have an emission that would disturb your classmates, require input that would distract (e.g., a noisy keyboard or pointing device), or be used to contact another human during the test. |
| URL for Group #2 is available for viewing. | http://osf1.gmu.edu/~ccollin6/index.html |
| 08-Mar | A student asked: "The logic model that you discussed in class - i.e. a situation with

compress that - the true and false diagram that you showed in class - I
am not able to find that in the book." | Here is a compressed WORD document on logic modeling. |

| 04-Mar-02 | Questions about the homework:
"...do you have any recommendations on the application used to create a PERT chart? I checked Visio and MS Project, and I see templates for a Gantt chart but not PERT. I can easily create one myself with circles and arrows, but I just wanted to see if you have a preference.
Also, do you want to receive a hard copy of the homework, soft copy, or both?" |
Answer: MS Project has the ability to generat a PERT from Gantt. Circles and arrows are okay, but I want you to demonstrate you can use the commonly used tools (I won't reduce the points you'd earn, but I won't likely give you the benefit of the doubt if you're borderline).
Hardcopy, please. e-mail is becoming unreliable. |
